I’m Tom Trask, founder and creative director of Scenic Route Media.

I started Scenic Route Media to create thoughtful visual storytelling for organizations doing meaningful work. My background spans 3D animation, live-action production, and post-production, but the common thread throughout my work is translating nuanced concepts into visual experiences that connect with people.

I frequently collaborate with academic researchers, policy leaders, and technical experts working at the forefront of their fields, where the challenge isn’t just creating content, but making it accessible without losing depth or accuracy.

Over the years, I’ve worked internationally on social impact initiatives and alongside executive leadership, government officials, and civic leaders, developing projects that require quickly understanding complex subject matter and translating it into compelling visual storytelling.
